Police urge motorists to turn around because there is a landslide on the main road leading to Bone district, Indonesia

A large rock slide that occurred on the Maros-Bone axis road, South Sulawesi, Indonesia on Thursday 25 January 2024 morning caused the road to be blocked by rocks.

As a result, there was a long traffic jam on the road. A police officer went straight to the location and advised motorists to turn around. Because the road was blocked by landslides and impassable.

Apart from that, efforts to clear the roads from rocks caused by landslides took a day. So the police asked motorists to look for alternative routes. (*)
