At 10:06 a.m. on January 24, the Alameda County Fire Department swiftly responded to a distress call, rescuing a woman whose small truck was swept into Del Valle Creek in Livermore.

Stranded since 7:00 p.m. the night before, a CHP helicopter conducted a successful rescue. Despite the prolonged exposure, the woman was found cold but in good condition.

The efficient response by the Alameda County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol underscores the importance of timely and effective emergency services in ensuring the safety of those in need.
