Paphiopedilum, known as the "giant panda" in the plant world, is listed in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. Among the more than 80 species of paphiopedilum found in the world, more than 60 species of original species exist in southwest Guizhou Province, and 5 species are unique, which is known as the "paradise" of Paphiopedilum.
