This is the shocking moment a truck was seen engulfed in flames while carrying sacks of cassava flour in Thailand.

The vehicle caught fire as it drove along a road with its freshly harvested cargo in Kamphaeng Phet province on January 27.

Firefighters later arrived to put out the flames. The truck driver claimed his brakes had malfunctioned so he was unable to stop.

There were no injuries reported.

Flour is a highly flammable substance when it hangs as dust in the air. The particles, which are made up of combustible sugars, have more surface area exposed to oxygen, making them susceptible to ignition.
