A stunning rainbow on a yellow sky background delighted residents in Washington State.
Footage shows the multicoloured arc floating over Cultus Bay on the south end of Whidbey Island in Ault field on January 25.
Resident Tom Trimbath said in the video: ‘Rain squall means rainbow. Cool.'
A rainbow is a beautiful, multicoloured arc that appears in the sky after rain. It's caused by the refraction, reflection, and dispersion of sunlight in water droplets.
