A giant female influencer, known for being four centimetres taller than NBA superstar Yao Ming, has unexpectedly passed away.

Supertall Xiao Mo, 23, a 2.3-metre-tall (7.5 feet) online celebrity from the city of Shaoyang, Hunan province, China, reportedly died on January 15 after succumbing to complications arising from a recent cold.

Mo, recognised for her live streams on the platform where she shared insights into her daily life, was raised by her grandparents after her mother abandoned her a few months after birth.

Local media revealed that she had various underlying health conditions, such as heart and sight issues, that were connected to her height.

Following her death, the influencer was reportedly cremated. Media sources claim that her father, with whom she was not on good terms, has not yet collected her ashes from the crematorium.
