Fatigued driver crashes Cadillac SUV into home's wall in China
A Cadillac SUV veered off a road in a dramatic crash, slamming into the wall of a residential property in southern China.
The video was filmed in Chongqing on January 23.
The impact shattered the wall, leaving a scene of destruction as the vehicle came to a halt, skewed at the roadside. Moments after the crash, the driver, a man, emerged from the car to survey the damage, quickly drawing a crowd of curious onlookers.
The homeowner, whose property bore the brunt of the crash, revealed significant damage to the wall and mentioned that a vehicle parked in the yard was also caught in the aftermath.
The driver of the Cadillac admitted to momentarily dozing off behind the wheel, attributing the accident to fatigue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
Currently, the parties involved are in discussions to settle matters of compensation for the damages.
