Footage, proudly captured by Matthew's father, Ajji Mallari, shows the young drummer's performance on the festival streets alongside fellow street musicians.

Matthew demonstrated his skills, thoroughly enjoying the rhythmic beats of the drums and the accompaniment of the lyres.

Ajji Mallari said: 'Finally, my son is now performing with triple drums. I'm so proud to see him enjoying his passion and fulfilling his dreams.'

In 2023, Ajji made DIY drums using recycled plastic containers and rubber bands for his son, who practiced with them while blindfolded.
