Teenage girl saved after hanging from ski lift in China
A teenage girl was saved after hanging from a ski lift in northern China.
The video was filmed in the city of Yingkouo in Liaoning Province on January 29.
A 12-year-old girl riding alone on a ski lift accidentally fell and found herself dangling perilously in mid-air. Her clothing had become snagged on the lift, leaving her suspended and helpless.
Witnesses described the tense moments that followed. Mr. Ren, a bystander, recounted how the ski lift was immediately halted following the accident.
The girl was hanging too high for anyone to reach her from the ground. In a swift response, the resort staff restarted the lift in a calculated move to bring her within reach.
As the lift moved, other skiers on the scene sprang into action. Discarding their sledges, they rushed to the girl's aid, ready to catch her.
In a remarkable display of teamwork and quick thinking, they successfully caught the girl, ensuring her safe descent to the ground.
