Kind driver rescues kittens trapped inside a car
A kind driver rescued two kittens trapped inside the engine compartment of a car in Thailand.
Ploy Nattanun drove from her home in Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province, to her boyfriend's house in the On Nut area of Bangkok on January 7.
Upon hearing the cries of the distressed cats inside the vehicle, they rushed to open it to rescue them.
Footage shows the Ploy's brother inspecting the compartment to check on the cats. He even disassembled some car parts to retrieve the kittens inside.
After 30 minutes of searching, they successfully rescued the first cat and handed it to the vehicle owner, Ploy Nattanun.
Following this rescue, they heard the sound of another kitten crying in the engine compartment after 10 minutes. Opening the hood again, they discovered a white kitten.
The kittens were fed with formula milk and taken care of for three days.
Ploy decided not to keep both kittens because she had seen mother cat roaming around her house searching for her offspring every day. She set them down in her garden to wait for the mother to collect them.
She thinks the kittens became stuck in the engine because the mother cat gave birth to her kittens under her car.
