The astonishing video shows a woman admiring her Terracotta Army-themed hotel room as she walks around to record every inch on camera.

Smartphone footage shows the woman sizing every corner of the unusual hotel room in the city of Xi An in Shaanxi, China, on January 28.

The lady strolled through her B&B and checked out the replica sculptures depicting the famed armies of China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

The puzzled woman said: 'As soon as you come in, there are three Terracotta Warriors and horses.

'In the bathroom, there are also three Terracotta Warriors placed directly opposite the toilet, four others are placed under the sink as support columns, and there are also some hidden in the corner.'

She then explained how when she entered the bedroom, she was stunned to discover that the entire wall opposite her bed was covered with sculptures. She reportedly found two more on the balcony.

The lady said: 'I arrived in the middle of the night, and the atmosphere of terror immediately filled me. The most important thing is, there are countless warriors under each bed.

'The most terrifying thing is the bedroom. There are three Terracotta Warriors and their horses on one side of the bed. If you lay on the bed and look at the ceiling, you can see another set of sculptures staring straight back at you!'

When asked by Chinese media, the hotel owner said that bookings were booming during the Chinese New Year.

He said: 'Guests come and check in for experience. They stay for one night, make a video, or go live.

'During the Spring Festival, most of the rooms are fully booked. During the Chinese New Year, the price is between CNY 900 and 1,000 [GBP 100 and111] after discounts.'
