In a non-violent act of protest, two individuals named Sasha and Marie-Juliette poured soup on the famous painting of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum. Their action was part of the Food Fight campaign, aiming to highlight the need for Sustainable Food Social Security.

Marie-Juliette emphasized the importance of prioritizing access to healthy and sustainable food over art. Their demand is for the establishment of social security for sustainable food, enabling residents to receive a vital food card with a monthly allowance of €150. This would be used to purchase approved and democratically selected food products.

The citizens involved with Riposte Alimentaire, also known as Food Response, argue that just as health care is safeguarded through social security, the fundamental need for food should also be ensured. They stress the importance of making food universal, democratic, and sustainable.
