A man was arrested after he climbed an Eros statue in Piccadilly Circus, London, on January 31.

The filmer said: "At around 7:20 pm in Piccadilly Circus, I saw a man standing on the Eros statue. The area was shut down with police tape, there were multiple police cars, a fire truck, and a Territorial Support Group van on site. There was a large crowd of people watching and lots of traffic, I even heard Piccadilly Circus Station had shut down.

"The man was up there for about three hours and it seemed as if he was refusing to get down. I left before he was arrested, as I later saw on the news."
