An adorable puppy took an albino buffalo for a walk outside its enclosure.

The four-month-old Labrador Retriever named Ramil joined his owner at a farm and pulled the white animal named Thong Aran to wander around in Roi Et province, Thailand, on January 10.

Footage shows Ramil biting the buffalo's leash and guiding it to come with him as he plays in the open space.

Pet owner Aran Mongkhonmuang said: ‘Ramil is familiar with the farm and is very close with the buffalos. He likes to be around on feeding time.'

Buffalos played a crucial role in Thai agriculture, particularly rice cultivation. White buffalos, due to their rarity, have been perceived as symbols of prosperity and bountiful harvests.
