Ravi Kumar, 25, is believed to be one of the smallest people in India measuring at a height of 24 inches (60.96cm). The shortest person ever is Chandra Dangi who was 21.5 inches tall (54.6cm)

The 25-year-old lives in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, with his mother who helps to look after him.

Kumar says when he was 5-year-old when he found out he would not grow any taller. He was diagnosed with thyroid disease and has been to many doctors since.

His mother said: "We don’t have money to pay for his treatment.
Everyone in his family is of normal height."

Ravi's parents say that when Ravi was five years old, they came to know that his height was not increasing
