Police officers detain a man and seize money in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan, undated. The man sold his kidney for $18,000 online to pay debts from his gambling addiction.

This is the moment police officers in Kazakhstan wrestle a man to the ground in the snow after he tried to sell his kidney online for USD 18,000 to pay off his gambling debts.

The footage then shows the man apparently attempting to resist arrest as cops wearing balaclavas hold him by his arms after managing to cuff his hands behind his back in Kazakhstan's Akmola region.

The police said that they are actively investigating the incident.
