A car dragged a scooter for around one kilometre in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday (31st Jan) night. According to information, the car rammed into the two-wheeler in Bhubaneswar's Patia.The driver of the two-wheeler fell on the ground and was injured, following which he was admitted to a hospital. The car had hit another person before ramming into the scooter, who has also been admitted to the hospital. In a video of the incident, the car could be seen dragging the two-wheeler. The car continued to drive for around 1 km towards Nandankanan, dragging the scooter along with it. sparks could be seen flying off from its front due to friction as it dragged the scooter along with it. Passers-by and locals attempted to go behind the four-wheeler in a bid to stop the car, but the driver didn't stop. The inspector-in-charge of Infocity Police Station in Patia said that the car driver had been identified and detained , and appropriate action would be taken against him.
