Aid continued to enter after settlers, including a number of families of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, closed the Kerem Shalom crossing in front of humanitarian aid trucks that were on their way to Gaza, for the fourth time in a row, demanding that no truck enter until all prisoners are returned.

The Hebrew website Ynet said: For the first time since the protests began, the Israeli police tried to prevent the siege, but the demonstrators were eventually able to close the crossing.

He added that for the first time since Wednesday, several individual trucks were able to enter the Strip.
This comes after the administration of US President Joe Biden sent a message to the State of Israel stating that “the Kerem Shalom crossing should operate as usual,” and that humanitarian aid should enter Gaza without any obstacles.
UNRWA supervises the entry of aid through the Kerem Shalom crossing, where aid enters from the Egypt land crossing, is inspected on the Israeli side, and then enters the Gaza Strip.
