Chinese father flies aeroplane to take daughter back to hometown during Spring Festival
A father flew an airplane to carry his 7-year-old daughter home during the Spring Festival while the mother went ahead by operating another plane in northern China.
Video filmed on January 30 in Lu'An, Anhui shows their flight lasting only 50 minutes, which was 2 hours faster than driving.
The father Wang Lei, a flight instructor, always comes back with his family to home at weekends and holidays in this way which is faster and there is no traffic jam in the journey.
During the Spring Festival, people working in other areas will return to their hometowns to unite with their families and celebrate the holiday together. The traditional modes of travel, such as driving or taking the train, are often stuck in traffic or can't get tickets.
