In a harrowing incident on February 2, 2024, in Chile's Valparaíso region, a family's leisurely day at the beach turned into a nightmare as they found themselves driving through a rapidly spreading forest fire on the highway.

Jacky Crucifere, who shared a video capturing the intense situation, described the sudden turn of events. Initially oblivious to the impending danger, the family received a distressing message from a relative, urging them to return home due to a fire in Peñablanca.

As they headed back, the sky turned yellow, and ashes filled the air. In a matter of seconds, the situation escalated dramatically, with burning branches falling onto their windshield and sparks surrounding them.

The family, including two young daughters, faced a perilous situation, unable to turn around.
