A powerful atmospheric river storm continued to hit California on Monday, February 5, causing widespread damage. The storm caused destructive mudslides, knocked down trees and power lines, and left at least three people dead as it brought violent winds and heavy downpours.

More than 7 inches of heavy rain fell in the Los Angeles area, and a Flash Flood warning was issued for parts of Southern California.
