Kind-hearted Chinese villagers aid stranded highway motorists with essential supplies
Kind-hearted villagers delivered essential supplies to the motorists stranded on a highway due to the heavy snow in central China.
The video was filmed in Xiantao City in Hubei Province on February 4.
Local villagers extended their helping hands to stranded individuals on the highway by delivering hot water and food using a makeshift crane.
According to a resident Su Junjie, they noticed people stranded on the elevated section of the Xuchang–Guangzhou Expressway and realised the urgent need for supplies.
Responding swiftly, they boiled over 30 eggs, purchased a large bag of bread, along with other essentials, and prepared hot water. With the elevated highway approximately 50 metres above ground, they ingeniously employed a crane to transport the provisions.
Following the delivery, they received a heartfelt thank-you letter from a young girl, expressing, "In the cold winter, you gave me warmth. Thank you for being there, thank you for your kindness, and thank you to the most beautiful people of Hubei." Touched by the gesture, everyone was deeply moved upon reading the letter.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
