This is the moment a furious Australian tourist allegedly attacked a condo security guard in Thailand.

Roger Chan was reportedly evicted from the apartment block in Chanthaburi province last year for allegedly shouting at maids and other tenants.

However, he has allegedly repeatedly returned to the property to terrorise people before coming to blows with security guard Somporn Panwong, 43, on February 3.

CCTV footage shows the Thai guard helping a driver manoeuvre out of the car park as the angry Aussie stomped over to confront him.

Several tenants intervened, but when they left, Roger appeared to continue harassing Sompong.

Despite arming himself with a baseball bat, the guard was overpowered by the larger man and was seen flailing on the ground as he tried to fend off the tourist.

Roger walked away and left him with wounds on his lips and eyebrow.

The injured guard said: 'The foreigner walked up to me and I was so frantic that I used a bat to drive him away. I didn't want to beat him with it, so we had a scuffle over it.

'He was much larger than me. I was knocked down, but I tried to kick him with my feet. Eventually, he got tired and walked away from the condo.'

Sompong added that he has notified the condominium's management and filed a report with the police.

He said: ' We saw him twice before throwing rocks and empty bottles at cars in the parking lot on January 31 and February 1. We're annoyed by his actions.'

Police Lieutenant Colonel Supitchaya said officers are investigating the incidents.
