Horizon City Police Officers Take the Plunge into Freezing Waters to Support Special Olympics in TX, USA

Despite the freezing temperatures and chilly winds, officers from the Horizon City Police Department took the plunge for a good cause at the 2024 Polar Plunge. The brave officers donned their uniforms and jumped into a pool of freezing water, quickly emerging from the icy depths with shivers and smiles.
The annual Polar Plunge event aims to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Texas - Greater El Paso Area. By taking the plunge, the officers demonstrated their commitment to supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities and their dedication to making a difference in the community.
The event not only helped raise funds for a worthy cause but also showcased the camaraderie and selflessness of the Horizon City Police Department. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the officers' enthusiasm and determination shone through as they braved the icy waters to support the Special Olympics.
