Russian troops allegedly disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry in forward positions by launching rockets at them using BM-21 'Grad' systems.

Ukrainian soldiers were spotted during aerial reconnaissance doing rotations in the area of Severesk to the northeast of Bakhmut, the Ministry of Defense in Russia claimed on February 6.

The 'Grad' multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) crew, having previously charged the reactive unit, received a combat mission and moved to the firing area, from where they delivered effective fire on the Ukrainian infantry, the ministry claimed.

After completing the combat task, the artillerymen promptly withdrew to a safe area for reloading, it added.
