A motorist narrowly averted an incident as snow cascading from his car roof blocked his view on a central Chinese highway.

Dashcam footage filmed in Wuhan City in Hubei Province on February 4, shows snow piled on a man's car roof suddenly sliding onto the front windshield, obstructing his view.

The motorist then steadied the wheel, activated hazard lights, used the rearview mirror to gauge the road, and safely slowed down to pull over.

After stopping, he cleared the snow from his car and continued on his journey, averting a potential disaster.
