A pigeon trapped inside the front bumper grill of an MG car was rescued.

The bird had taken shelter from the rain on the red sedan but could not fly out in Chonburi, Thailand, on July 23.

Footage shows the animal being extracted by driver Koraphat Pasingchob through the tiny hole in the vehicle part.

It was successfully freed with the help of a cloth bag and quickly flew away to a nearby tree.

Koraphat said: ‘We were relieved it wasn't hurt. I stopped the car with my girlfriend to lend it a hand.'
