Adorable elephant calf wobbly on its feet loves playing in the mud
This adorable elephant calf who was very wobbly on its feet absolutely loves playing in the mud.
Filmed in Kruger National Park, South Africa, the footage shows the calf flopping around the muddy puddle.
The filmer told Newsflare: "Watching baby elephants in the African wild is a special and very entertaining experience. When baby elephants get near water or mud, you can be sure it will be full of play and fun and a great joy to watch.
"While on a safari in the Kruger National Park, we came across a herd of elephants, busy cooling down at a large mud wallow. It was a scorcher of a day, and the elephants took advantage of getting the mud on their bodies to cool down.
"To the one side, I noticed a tiny baby elephant together with its mother, having the time of its life. While mommy used her trunk to spray mud over her body, the baby elephant opted for rolling and falling around in the mud.
"The baby elephant still looked very young, and its legs were still wobbly. The baby elephant kept slipping and sliding about on its wobbly legs, looking so funny and adorable at the same time.
"When it was time to go, getting out of the mud wallow seemed a bit tricky for the little one, but with determination and feet spinning and sliding in the mud, the baby elephant managed to get out of the wallow and join mommy, as they disappeared back into the bush.
"What a memorable fun and cute sighting it was, putting a smile on the face of everyone on my safari vehicle."
