The astonishing video shows a house ending up covered in snow and ice after the residents forgot to close the bathroom windows during the night.

Smartphone footage from Yuanling County, in the city of Huaihua in Hunan, China, depicted the house being transformed into a massive freezer on February 5.

The shocking videos show residents shovelling snow inside their home after it was filled with snow when one of them reportedly forgot to close the bathroom windows during a snowstorm.

In an interview with local media, one of the family members said that even after seven hours of cleaning, there was still snow piled up in the washing machine.

One of the clips depicting the hallway of the property showed a scene with the snow stretching all the way to the bathroom window.
