Grateful Chinese couple stranded on icy road thank police officers with wedding candies
A grateful couple stranded on an icy road thanked police officers with wedding candies in eastern China.
The video was filmed in Bozhou City in Anhui Province on February 5.
A couple on their way to their engagement ceremony encountered an unexpected obstacle when their car slipped on the road, leaving them stranded.
Fortunately, their plight caught the attention of officers from the Dianji Police Station in Woyang County who were assisting with another accident nearby.
Without hesitation, the officers rushed to their aid, helping to push the stranded vehicle to safety.
With the combined efforts of everyone involved, the car was successfully rescued.
In a gesture of gratitude, the bride-to-be handed out traditional candies, saying, "We were eagerly awaiting our engagement ceremony and thankfully encountered you. Please take some candies to share in our joy. Thank you so much!"
