Footage shows multiple vehicles being hit and damaged by ice bombs falling from several bridges due to rising temperatures.

The vehicles were hit by chunks of ice on the Erqi Yangtze River Bridge in the city of Wuhan in Hubei, China, on February 7.

A line of cars waited to cross the same bridge after police briefly shut down the Erqi Yangtze River Bridge to avoid further incidents at around 1:30 pm.

One of the drivers who seemingly pulled over after crossing one of the affected bridges can be seen pointing at his car's windshield, which was crushed into pieces.

A Wuhan Traffic Police deputy advised citizens to pay attention to safety and make detours to prevent being hit by the melting ice.

Experts said that the temperatures in the city are expected to continue to rise in the following days.
