Cute footage has emerged from California, USA, of a young girl riding a roller coaster for the first time.

The video, filmed at Disney Land at the end of January, shows Kira riding the Gadget's Go Coaster after not being allowed on some of the other rides because she didn't meet the height requirements.

After saying "oh my goodness" a number of times before the ride gets going, her reaction when it finally starts is adorable.

The filmer later wrote online: "We were spending the day in Disneyland and all day Kira was begging to go on a roller coaster.

"Only problem was that at 40", she was too short for most."

"Finally, we got to Toontown and there was Gadget's Go Coaster where the minimum height was only 35," she continued.

"For the entire 40 minutes while we waited on line, Kira was so excited and couldn't wait to get on the ride.

"This video is how she reacted once the ride started.

"Believe it or not, once we were off the ride, she wanted to get right back on.

"Unfortunately, we weren't willing to wait in the line again."
