This is the heartwarming moment a child who was buried for more than 60 hours in a landslide was found alive and carried to safety.

The three-year-old girl, named Chinx Malacaste, was rescued by the Search and Rescue team in Davao De Oro, the Philippines, on February 9.

Footage shows an official carrying Chinx while other rescuers radio for help.

Local media reported that the child's health is now stable and being monitored in the hospital.

The devastating landslide struck the town of Masa on Tuesday, February 6, destroying houses and burying vehicles, resulting in at least 15 deaths, 31 locals injured, and hundreds missing.

Heavy rain caused the landslide and flooding in parts of the Mindanao region, forcing residents to evacuate into emergency shelters.

The country is prone to typhoons and monsoons, increasing the risk of landslides and heavy flooding.
