On February 9, 2024, a catastrophic fire erupted, consuming the entire roof of a residential multi-storey building along Chernyakhovsky Street in Moscow, Russia. The blaze, spanning approximately 4 thousand square meters, prompted urgent intervention from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. At the scene, over 130 specialists and 41 pieces of equipment, including two K-32 helicopters, were mobilized to combat the inferno. The severity of the situation was underscored by the assignment of the fire to the third level of complexity out of five. Video footage revealed the alarming extent of the roof ablaze, as rescuers worked tirelessly to evacuate both people and animals from the endangered structure.
