US: M4.6 Earthquake Strikes Near Malibu, Southern California

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck near Malibu on Friday, February 9, and was felt throughout much of the greater Los Angeles area. There was no tsunami advisory.

According to the USGS, the epicenter of the quake was located about 9 miles southwest of Thousand Oaks and measured at a depth of 7.5 miles. The LAFD said that no injuries were reported.
