Ed Sheeran visits Thai street food cafe for crab omelette
Ed Sheeran visited a Thai street food cafe selling Michelin-starred crab omelettes.
The British singer and songwriter visited the local cafe with ex-pat pal Gaggan Anand, 45, before he performed at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 10.
Footage shows Ed Sheeran sitting at one of the tables inside the street-side outlet of Jay Fai, 76, who is one of the only street vendors in the world holding a Michelin star.
Onlooker Nelwin Uy said: ‘Ed just ordered crab omeltte. He tasted it and left afterwards. He was very relaxed and friendly to everyone.'
The singer also visited a local award-winning Pad Thai restaurant, posing for pictures with the owner.
Ed Sheeran is a British singer and songwriter from Suffolk, England. He has won multiple Grammy awards, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Thinking Out Loud' in 2016.
Jay Fai is a famous street food chef in Bangkok who is renowned for her crab omelettes, made with chunks of meat mixed into an egg batter which she expertly cooks in a searing hot wok.
