The Confucius Institute of Abidjan, located within the Felix Houphouet Boigny University, organized a ceremony on Saturday to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, in the presence of many students as well as Ivorian and Chinese officials.
During the ceremony, participants had the chance to explore the Chinese cuisine, delving into the subtle art of making traditional Chinese dishes. From the preparation of ingredients to the harmony of flavors, each step has been revealed, offering a captivating insight into this rich culinary tradition.

"To make Jiaozi, which means dumplings in Chinese, we take flour and pour it into the bowl and add a maximum of two eggs. Once the mixture is made, we add just a little water, so it doesn't turn out very mushy."
