This is the moment climate activists threw soup on a Monet painting in France.

Footage shows two members of the Riposte Alimentaire group, which means 'food counterattack' in English, dousing the precious artwork protected behind glass at the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon, on February 10.

The pair were arrested and the museum said it will be pursuing criminal charges against the attackers.

Riposte Alimentaire is the same group that threw soup at the Mona Lisa painting at the Louvre two weeks ago.
