A mother living in Lithia Springs, Georgia, made her daughter apologise to a person she was bullying with an impressive hamper of gifts.

Once Dominique Mackey found out that her daughter was bullying another kid she immediately took them to a mall to start purchasing her "apology".

She captioned the video: "POV: Your child decided to be a follower and bully another kid today knowing you hate bullies! This is how we apologise in our household."

In footage that has racked up over 8.2 million views on TikTok, Mackey places a letter of apology from her daughter alongside a range of gifts including a Krispy Kreme voucher.

Mackey also offered the girl her daughter's hairdresser appointment that she had already paid for. A clip shows Mackey calling the girl's mother and explaining what the gifts are for.

The mother told Newsflare: "I always tell my kids that you never know what a person is going through at home and what they have to deal with every day.

"You are to always be kind to everyone because how you treat someone can impact their mental health in many ways!

"Not only that but everything you have can be taken away just as fast as you received it! Humble yourself!
