The Paratroopers Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has been actively engaged in intense fighting in western Khan Yunis, where they have conducted targeted raids on Hamas infrastructure and eliminated numerous operatives in recent days.

According to the IDF, the soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade have successfully neutralized many dozens of operatives using a variety of tactics including sniper fire, close-quarters combat, tank fire, and aerial support. The forces have also encountered armed operatives at various locations and effectively neutralized them to ensure the safety and security of the area.

In addition to engaging with operatives in combat, the Paratroopers Brigade has thoroughly scanned numerous sites where Hamas infrastructure was located. During these operations, the soldiers have uncovered combat facilities, explosives, rigged buildings, and intelligence documents used by the terrorists for planning attacks.

One notable operation saw an IDF unit entering a building where an explosive device was directed at the main entrance. The forces successfully neutralized the device and also discovered AK-47s and ammunition within the same building.
