On Monday night a woman was arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred in relation to a placard she was seen holding during Monday night's pro-Palestine demonstration in Central London.

The young woman was confronted by police officers and bundled into the back of a police van on Monday evening. Demonstrators began chanting 'Let her go!' as she was driven away.

The arrest took place during the pro-Palestine demonstration organised by the 'Stop the War' coalition. The metropolitan police later confirmed the arrest of the woman on social media.
