Chile: Super Cup Final Suspended After Colo-Colo Fans Set Fire At National Stadium
The Chilean Super Cup final match between CSD Colo-Colo and Huachipato FC, held at the National Stadium in Santiago, was forced to be suspended on Sunday, February 11, as fans turned violent and set fire to seats in the stands.
The halftime was delayed after some supporters clashed with police as they attempted to get onto the pitch. The game was called off officially as unrest continued to grow, and a fire broke out in the stands.
