Thai army deploys helicopter to battle wildfire
The Thai army deployed a helicopter to battle a wildfire ripping through a forest in Thailand.
Video shows the Ka-32 flying over the woodlands in Kanchanaburi province to douse the blaze with water on February 10.
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said the helicopter made nine trips and dumped around 27,000 litres of water to areas inaccessible to the ground firefighting team.
The operation concluded at 3:40 pm local time with the fire brought under control.
