A teenage girl showed off her epic keepy-uppy skills in front of her teammates.

May Oo Khin, 17, is seen in the video juggling the hand-woven ball with clever backheels that kept it in the air during a session in Yangon, Myanmar, on January 7.

The older athletes watched her from the side of the court with amazement as she performed her unique skill.

May said she has been cane ball, known locally as Chinlone, since she was 10 years old. It is a popular sport in Burmese villagers in which two teams have to keep the ball in the air using their feet, knees, and their heads as they walk around a circle.

She said: 'I have perfected this move myself. I kick my back leg and hit the ball. If I stay balanced, I can keep going like this for a long time.'

May's friend Ko Yin Khaing, who recorded the video, added: 'This is the national sport of Myanmar. We love watching and playing it together. May is particularly talented.'

Chinlone is a traditional Burmese sport that is considered to be a combination of sport and dance. It is played with a woven, rattan ball that resembles a football-shaped wicker basket. The ball is made of interwoven bamboo strips.
