On February 7, 2024, a gas explosion shook a private residence in the village of Novy Redant, Ingushetia, Russia, as captured by a CCTV camera. The blast resulted in the destruction of the house's roof structure, with broken windows and doorways. Two individuals, a 65-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, sustained injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital. Fortunately, there were no children among the casualties, and no subsequent fire was reported. The Russian Federation State Emergency Situations Directorate for the region is actively investigating the incident, conducting both a pre-investigation check and a separate verification by the regional prosecutor's office to determine the circumstances and causes of the gas explosion.
