The occasion served as a platform to applaud their commendable run in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and bestow upon them well-deserved honors.

Each member of the team, from players to coaching staff, was awarded the prestigious Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), recognizing their exceptional efforts and contribution to the nation's sporting glory.

Tinubu, in a gesture of appreciation, gifted each individual with a flat in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and a plot of land.

Senator John Owan Enoh, the Minister of Sports Development, led the Super Eagles delegation alongside officials from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). Their arrival at the presidency was met with warmth and a resounding display of national pride, mirroring the emotions resonating across the country.
