The video shows Russian paratroopers purportedly demolishing a Ukrainian stronghold in an attack involving BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles.

The purported video showed armed Ussuriysk-based paratroopers locating the Ukrainian stronghold spotted by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the village of Andriivka, in the city of Bakhmut, in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, on February 14.

They can then be seen attacking with BMP-3 infantry fightingvehicles (IFVs), equipped with a 100-milimetre 2A70 semi-automatic riffled missile launchers.

Russia's Ministry of Defence said in a statement: 'The crew of the combat vehicles quickly marched to the specified area on standard equipment.

'Acting professionally, decisively, and cohesively, demonstrating courage and bravery, the armoured group crews suppressed the enemy's defensive positions with 100-millimeter guns, destroying a large number of Ukrainian personnel.

'The enemy was finally routed by direct fire from the paired 30-milimetre automatic cannons.

'The surviving nationalists hastily fled, abandoning their weapons and equipment.'
