Shocking CCTV footage captured at Blakedown station in Worcestershire shows a dog walker ignoring warning signals as they crossed through barriers, narrowly avoiding a collision with a train.

The incident, described as reckless by railway staff, occurred at 10:27 am on February 13 when the West Midlands Railway train was approaching.

Network Rail has released the video as a safety warning to show the importance of obeying rules at level crossings to avoid tragic accidents.
