A lone street protester raps confusingly until switched off then hand cuffed by a police constable. King st, Truro, Cornwall, UK
in the main shopping precinct of Cornwall's solitary city, a lunchtime spectacle unfolds. As a young man brings his protest to the public on this busy working day. Using rap and an amplifier he soon draws the attention of local authority street wardens who are tasked with keeping the City Centre ordered and safe. Our protagonist is determined to keep messaging the public. Police are summoned. After a heated spoken interchange of views, the constable presses the off button on the amplifier. The decision to handcuff the protester is taken. The young man and his equipment are seen leaving in a police vehicle. Lunchtime shoppers and workers carry on unperturbed.
