Shocking new footage has emerged of the aftermath of the Super Bowl parade shooting that killed a woman and injured 22 others.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, 44, was shot dead when a gunman opened fire during the Kansas City Chiefs' victory celebrations at Union Station on Wednesday.

Distressing new video, released today (Sun) shows people lying bloodied on the floor as people crowd round providing first aid and thousands of others look on in horror.

Police said a 'private dispute' sparked the gun mayhem during the event, which also left Lisa's adult son wounded.

William Hammett, who was at the rally with his eight-year-old son Geovanni, captured footage seconds after the gunshots stopped.

Joyful fans had been leaving the area following a celebration for new NFL champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Bystanders tackled a gunman to the ground and at least one firearm was recovered.

William, who had been filming the celebrations throughout the day, added: "I was at the rally and I was recording the whole thing. "

"It happened right at the very end, as soon as the guys got off the stage. "

"We heard what sounded like fireworks, but once we exited onto the street we started seeing people laying on the ground. "

"Once we got closer we realised they weren't firecrackers, they were gunshots. "

"Everyone was witnessing it in real time. "The shots lasted for about five seconds and I started recording. "

"There were people just running around, lots of people really confused what was going on and there was blood everywhere." "

William said his son was "terrified", adding: "He saw some stuff no kid should see."

"He’s had to stay home from school, and I’ve barely been sleeping. I still think about it everywhere." "

Two teenagers have since been arrested over the shooting and held on gun and resisting arrest charges.

A fundraising appeal set up by Lisa's family received a donation of $100,000 (£80,000) from pop star Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

She wrote: "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift."

More than 40 mass shootings have taken place in the US so far this year.
